Hand to Hand (Romans 10:14)

What is Hand to Hand?

Hand to Hand is a strategy, created by students and staff in the Atlanta Metro College Ministry, to reach out to students with the Gospel. On the most basic level, Hand to Hand is one student personally providing the knowledge of the Gospel to as many other students as possible in as many ways as needed.

Perspective

Most Christian college students do not take the initiative to provide others around them with the knowledge of the Hope they have. If last year you provided the knowledge of the Gospel to say, one other student, but this year took the initiative only once a week, that would be an increase of 3000% counting only the 30 weeks or so weeks of class. Imagine hundreds of students providing the knowledge of the gospel to others on a weekly basis.

How Does it Work?

Simplicity. Here's a checklist to get you going. Hand to Hand can be tailored to your style and added to as much as you wish. Be creative!

1...Target
...several people you know and come in contact with.
Pray for them.

2...Give
...away the knowledge of the Gospel.
In the context of a conversation with a friend or acquaintance, say "The contents of this booklet have meant a lot to me, I'd love to know what you think of it.", and hand them a Knowing God Personally booklet. Anytime you do this, plan a way to talk about it again, either by saying you'll call or by asking about it when you see them, or even making an appointment to specifically talk about it. Pray for them!

3...Record
...your activities on a Hand to Hand card each week at your Campus Crusade for Christ meeting.
Download/Print the .pdf version of the card.

4...Ask
...the people you gave the booklets to for a response.
