Upcoming Conferences, Srping Break and Summer Opportunities

I trust that you’ve had a good opportunity to read the first three weekly tips and especially the January Roadmap. Two important points on the January Roadmap:

Planning a big evangelistic event in February - see Valentine's Day Resources on GodSquad for some ideas of using the holiday
Thinking about next year's leadership team - challenging your seniors to replace themselves

Planning ahead in the area of leadership is always important. Now is also the time to be locking in and finalizing your plans for the month of February.

Opportunities to be aware of :

In two weeks in California there is a big Epic conference for Asian students:
In about four weeks is the Destino conference for all Hispanic students in Texas
The Big Break conference is in March (I will be there the first two weeks)
The Hurricane Katrina Spring break conference is for 6 weeks this spring
Summer Opportunities have extended the registration deadline:
The first deadline for applying for Summer Opoportunities is Feb. 1st (midnight EST). Students will still hear back as scheduled - Feb 24th, if they meet this first deadline.
