Preparing for T he Da Vinci Code Movie

This week as we head toward Easter this coming Sunday, and through the rest of the semester, you will have a unique opportunity to share the gospel with people on campus as well as disciple those in your ministry. Don’t be tempted to slip into “going home for summer” mode. With Easter a few days away and the Da Vinci Code movie in full advertisement mode for it’s release in mid May, now would be the time to strike up some conversations with people. Here’s the 6 best ideas for you to consider:

  1. Have a three week Bible study series on the issues raised by the Da Vinci Code book and soon to be released movie. Here’s the link: http://www.campuscrusade.com/DaVinciquest/Pdfs/DaVinciStudyGuide.pdf
  2. Share the content of this material in your next weekly meeting: http://www.godsquad.com/pdfs/gospelanddavinci.pdf
  3. Using this same document above, take the time to share with people all over campus the key issues of fiction as found in the book.
  4. At the minimum, train everyone in your ministry to know how to share the gospel in light of the release of the Da Vinci Code movie.
