Finishing the Semester, Preparing Students to Survive (and thrive) This Summer

It’s April 25th and this is the last week for some schools. I have a daughter who graduates from the University of North Florida this Friday ( : Most of you will be done in the next two to three weeks. But if you’re on the quarter system, you may still have up to six weeks to go. Overall, you need to plan the end of your semester accordingly. Hopefully, you caught the strategy behind the Da Vinci Code and can encourage everyone to use the materials well beyond the end of the semester. Here was last weeks tips for your reference.

The April Roadmap makes mention of key points as you look to the end of your semester: and but also be mindful of planning for your fall semester as accurately as you can:.

One big item that has great significance for everyone is helping people in your campus ministry survive the summer well spiritually. The “Summer Survival” page on the Godsquad is an excellent resource If you have not yet done a talk or Bible study on this topic, this week would be a great time to discuss this subject. The summer time is an opportunity for the evil one to hijack one’s faith and walk with God. Through the “Summer Survival” material, talk about how to stay close to God all summer so that everyone comes back ready to reach your campus with the gospel message and disciple those who want to grow.

Finally, if you’re the leader (point-man) on your campus, be sure to enter your semester statistics. Be sure to chose your staff coach in the drop down menu so they will see your statistics.

Talk to you next week,
