"... And You're Off"

Fall of 2006 has begun! At least for most of you if you're on the semester schedule. If you're on a quarter system you'll be starting soon. We have four important things for you to keep in mind as you begin your semester:

  1. Be sure you're fully prepared. There are several important details to be mindful of as you begin. Take a fresh look at your first six weeks schedule:

As you go to these resources be sure to look at the related articles in the menu to the left hand side of the pages. Remember, the first two weeks of the semester are the most important weeks of the entire year. Don't miss out.

  2. Come together with the leadership students on your campus and your faculty advisor and pray and finalize the plans for your semester.
  3. Your first meeting is important to bringing in new people. Make it a fun meeting and set a good example so people will come back. In the first two weeks be sure your weekly meeting is in the best possible location, at the best time of the week to attract the maximum number of students. Here are a couple of brief thoughts on what your meeting might look like. In a week or two we'll have a special website all set up to help you with ideas on putting together an entire meeting including the Bible study part. Stay tuned.

  4. If you are getting this email and you've already graduated, please let us know and we can take you off the list if you'd like. Also, if you know of the key leaders back on your campus and they need to get these emails, please let us know as well. That would be a great help.
