Fall Retreats, Bible Studies and Materials

Fall Retreats are Here

We hope that many of you have been able to connect with your nearest fall retreat. For some of you the fall retreat is this weekend, for others it is sometime in October. Similar to the Christmas conference, fall retreats will help your ministry get to the next level quickly. Here is a resource to help as you recruit others. Be sure to call your staff coach if you’re not sure when your retreat is.

Heart Behind Bible Studies

When you think about it, you only have 13-14 solid weeks in a normal semester, and maybe 28 weeks a year, to have a Bible study on your campus. You want to cover the most important concepts and truths first that are easily transferable. That is, materials that you teach to others, who in turn will teach them to others. That’s called a multiplying ministry. You want to teach the foundational materials of the Christian life first. As mentioned about three weeks ago, Steve Douglas, President of Campus Crusade, has written a new series called “Essentials”, which is excellent. Check it out.

Need Materials?

We have most of what you might need by going to the GodSquad store on New Life Resources. If you’re going to the store, you will need to get the username and password from your staff coach or you can request it from GodSquad's webmaster. You will get a significant discount, up to 40% because you’re a student or volunteer in our campus ministry. Check it out.
