Christmas and Winter Conferences and Campus Leadership Ideas Christmas and Winter conferences are awesome for building vision, encouragement, planning for your campus, connecting with God, and overall motivation. Try to get several from your campus to attend if at all possible. Visit the Christmas and Winter Conferences page on GodSquad for links to specific conferences. Continue to examine the October Roadmap for ideas for your semester:. http://www.godsquad.com/tips/index.htm As an encouragement, example and to further stimulate you with ideas for your campus, we’d like for you to see the semester schedule and leadership meeting notes for one campus in the upper Midwest that is totally student led ministry. On the Leadership meeting sheet, notice under “Leaders” how they’ve distributed responsibilities between different categories. Notice also how they assigned different people to the “Event/Outreach” events. As you look at this sheet overall, ask yourself “what can we do to improve our planning and delegating?” Now take a look at the semester calendar for this same campus. Notice how they’ve tried to capture the general ideas behind each week and what they want to emphasize. It is not complete, but an excellent example put together by the student leaders (the C5 stands for the Christmas conference).
